As of 12:15 pm, Saturday, February 24, 2007, we are experiencing an inclement weather system. The local weather forecasters are predicting that this system may potentially bring 1/2″ to 1″ of ice accumulation, underneath snow that will start falling later this weekend. According to our local power company, the power lines are designed to withstand 1/4″ of ice accumulation and 40 MPH winds before the lines could snap or break. With this in mind, Legacy Journals is issuing this customer service update.

If the weather forecasters are correct, we may lose power before this system has passed our location. If we loose power, we will also loose our phone systems (until power is restored). This may cause delays in returning phone calls. Please be patient with us during this time. If power is lost during this period, we will return calls in the order they were received as soon as power is restored.

Additionally, if we loose power during this time, shipping may be affected. We will make every effort to maintain normal operations, but, there may be shipping delays.

Production should not be affected during this time. We do not need power to work on your custom leather products, so, we will continue to work diligently on all orders, and ship as soon as possible.
